How to Charge Your Lush 2 Properly
- Turn the Lovense off
- Ensure that it is dry of any lube, liquid, or love juices
- Plug your USB cable into a USB port or a USB wall adapter
- Take the other side of the USB cable and firmly push it into the charging port until the charging indicator light on the Lush 2 starts to glow solid red
The charging port is a tight fit. Ensure you grip the Lovense well and push the pin straight in until the charging light turns on.
If you do it right, you shouldn’t have any issues charging your Lush 2. However, you could encounter problems, and the charging light won’t turn on if:
You Didn’t Push the Charging Cable Firmly into the Charging Port
The most common problem people face when charging their Lush 2 is aligning the USB charger well and then pushing it deep enough until it makes contact.
The charging port is a very tight fit since the toy is designed with waterproofing in mind. Making perfect contact with the charging port shouldn’t be a problem if you follow the proper plugin procedure.
Be firm but gentle. Ensure that the charging port aligns with the pin perfectly before applying firm and direct pressure to push it home.
ProTip: Wet hands or a wet toy will make everything slippery. If you run out of charge in the middle of a show, count your losses, dry the Lovense and your hands up and plug in the charger properly.
The USB Power Source is Faulty
USB ports fail – and so do wall AC to USB adapters. Before looking any further, test your power brick or USB supply on another device, for instance, your smartphone to see if it is charging.
If the power brick works, the device you plug in should detect the power. Your smartphone should start charging. If it doesn’t
- Ensure the AC adapter brick is plugged into an active wall outlet. If the wall outlet has a switch, flick it on
- If you are charging from a computer or another gadget with a USB port, ensure the gadget is powered on
- Try a different power source if the current one isn’t supplying power to your testing device
The USB Cable is Damaged
If you are not getting power from the USB power supply and can’t charge even other USB devices, there is the possibility that your USB cable is damaged.
Look for visible damage, tears, and cuts anywhere on the cable. You can ascertain damage on your USB cable by using an alternative cable to see if the Lovense Lush 2 starts charging.

The Charging Port is Blocked
Since the charging port is so small, it is surprisingly easy to gather dirt and gunk – especially if you don’t religiously clean your toys.
Anything, from fake cum to caked-in juices or lint from the bed, can block the charging port. Stand under light or use a torch to inspect the port looking for any accumulated gunk or solids that make it impossible to push the charger home.
Use a toothpick or a fine pair of forceps to coax out any pieces blocking the port. Be gentle and avoid bending any pins in the port or breaking them in the process.
You can avoid blockages by:
- Cleaning your toy and drying it thoroughly after use
- Storing the toy in a dry, well aerated but dust and lint-free place
- Sticking to appropriate water-based lubricants and avoid hard to clean solutions like homemade cum

Your Lovense Lush 2 is Damaged (Very Rare)

Why is My Lush 2 Charging So Slowly?
Your Lush 2 will charge slowly if the USB power supply isn’t delivering enough amperage to charge the unit fast. The average amperage most USB devices and smartphones need to charge at a decent pace is 1Amp. You will notice lower charging times if you charge your Lovense with a low-powered supply.
